I painted this from a photo that caught my eye—something about the light and the quiet posture of the person sitting in that room felt familiar and real. I tried to keep that stillness in the brushwork, letting the soft tones and gentle shadows hold the space. Even though it's not a place I’ve been, it reminds me of those moments when we pause and just are.
