Drawn Downstream

The way the reeds leaned into the frame caught my eye—soft, curved, and slightly blurred by breeze or time. The water behind them was calm but alive, pulling light along its surface in slow motion. It felt like the whole scene was tilting gently toward rest, the way the Rio Grande often does at day’s end.
