Gathering Light

The last sun of the day pooled in the water like it had nowhere else to be. I loved how the reeds stood tall, catching the glow along their edges while everything else softened. This stretch of the Rio Grande near Albuquerque always feels generous in fall—offering more than you expect, just by being still.
